How many mock interviews can I do?
We offer two (2) mock interviews. In our experience, two mocks is everything a young person needs to get it right.
How come only two? Because our program focuses time and energy up front to get the answers right before the first mock is even done.
So, by the time the applicant performs the first mock, they’ve been taught how to tell a compelling story, which questions will most likely come at them, and how to refine A+ answers.
Up front effort is the best approach so that the applicant doesn’t practice doing it the wrong way, and have to unlearn their mistakes.
How long is the mock interview?
The mock interview should last up to one (1) hour. Up to thirty (30) minutes of interviewing, followed by up to thirty (30) minutes of feedback. We provide verbal and written feedback after each interview, so applicants can practice on their own and come prepared for the next mock interview.
How much lead time do you need before the interview?
20 days minimum. For example, if your first interview is Nov 21st, then we should start no later than Nov 1st.
Why are interviews so important?
These interviews are given strong consideration in the selection process. If you don’t interview well, you likely won’t win; it’s as simple as that.
Academies’ stated purpose is to “build leaders of character.” But it’s difficult to get assess one’s character until the interview. This is why interviews matter. Because character matters.
The Academy admissions process requires more interviews than any college in America. Most Congressmen and Senators will interview before they award nominations. And all Academies require an interview from a liaison officer. ROTC Scholarships require them too.
Our average client will have 5-7 interviews throughout the application process.
How long is the engagement with Academy Endeavors?
Contract length is 30 days. This is the appropriate amount of time to ensure both the client and Academy Endeavors work in a focused manner. We’ve learned that clients build confidence when they have momentum. Momentum happens when you apply focused effort over a concentrated time span.
How many total admissions interviews will I need to be prepared for?
You could have as many as 11 interviews throughout the Academy/ROTC admission process. The AE Interview Package prepares you for all of them!
Congressional interviews:
Academy interviews:
ROTC scholarship:
How is payment arranged? Is there a payment plan?
Payment is due in full up front before the engagement can begin.
If you are a parent of a student applying to an Academy, you will soon be aware of how overwhelming it is. Each student is the best of the best. So how do you stand out? This is where Academy Endeavors is invaluable. Most colleges do not have an interview process, but to get into an Academy you will have many interviews, and you need to be prepared. While Academy Endeavors will help you develop a comprehensive application, the mock interviews were an outstanding way to prepare my son for his Congressional Nomination interview as well as his USAFA, USNA, AFROTC and NROTC interviews. These interviews are where you can and must differentiate yourself from other applicants. As proud parents of a USAFA class of 2026 cadet, thank you Academy Endeavors for your help in getting my son accepted to both USAFA and USNA, as well as being awarded both AFROTC and NROTC scholarships.
Although coming from a military family, most were enlisted, and the few officers attended state college. My father, a retired Marine, mentioned the Academy and spoke of the graduates’ success. Immediately I became intrigued about doing something so unique and challenging, but the more I researched, the less confident I became. As I did additional research, I found Academy Endeavors. The AE team’s knowledge and experience were obvious from the start – they went above and beyond to ensure I was ready for my interviews and provided me with information to practice on my own. As a result of Academy Endeavors, I earned a Congressional nomination and acceptance to the Naval Academy Prep School.
