Financial Hardship Application

Deadline🛑

• Deadline for submission: Sun, March 30 at midnight ET.
• Scholarship will be awarded to one applicant by May 1.
• The awardee will be in Cohort 7.

Award🏅

• The scholarship award will be for $8000, reducing the Pro package invoice to $1500.

Eligibility🪖✈️⚓️🛳️🚢

• Strong desire to attend a Service Academy
• Competitive application
  • minimum 1250+ SAT or 26+ ACT
  • 3.6+ GPA, with no C’s and multiple advanced classes (AP, Hon, DE)
  • athletic involvement
  • no significant medical issues
• Must be a rising HS Senior (class of 2026).

Step 1. Apply🙋

• Download free Resume Template and complete your own resume.
• Submit 500 word max professionally written essay on 1) why you want to attend a Service Academy, and 2) why you’re applying for financial hardship. 3) write your name at the top of the essay.
• Upload official cumulative HS transcript.
• Upload official SAT/ACT score from College Board or ACT.org.
• Complete application form below. Applicants that don’t follow instructions will be eliminated from contention.

Step 2. Interview & Financial Verification💬💲

• Academy Endeavors will invite the top 3 to a discovery call with the parent(s) and child.
• After the call, you’ll be asked to…
  • submit your tax returns as proof of financial need.
  • commit to attending the Cohort 7 meeting dates and meeting assignment deadlines.
  • submit a medical questionnaire to forecast DODMERB disqualifying conditions
• The most competitive application and verified financial need will be the winner.

Step 3. Commit📝

• The parent will be sent a $1500 invoice to be paid up front in full.
• The parent and child will be asked to sign the client agreement that details the high expectations for timeliness and effort.
• Academy Endeavors reserves the right to fire the client if they don’t meet the expectations specified in the client agreement.
