WHY SO COMPETITIVE: RECRUITED ATHLETES

Many slots are taken by recruited athletes, which makes it harder for everyone else.

Imagine there are 1,250 slots available, and you are NOT a recruited athlete.

JROTC, CAP, Sea Cadets, ROTC…

The impact of these on your resume cannot be overstated.

Free education shouldn’t be the primary reason to attend an Academy.

But it’s a significant reason people apply.

The history and traditions of the Academies are unlike any other.
