INTERVIEW SEASON IS HERE!

Interview season is now in full swing! Clients are doing ALO/BGO/Field Force interviews, and Congressional offices are offering interview invites soon.

The question is, “what will they ask, and more importantly, what will I say???”

Here’s a pro tip…

Guided brainstorming is key. “But why do I really want to attend a Service Academy?” And “what specifically am I drawn to about the Academy?” You are taking a unique path to officership, so your reasons will be investigated. Those that lay a good foundation, know their story well, know their audience well, and prepare well, win. Those who don’t, don’t.

You likely have done a lot over the last 16 years of life, but it’s difficult to communicate it in a coherent manner without first getting it down on paper. The better you know yourself, the more you can persuade admissions as to why they should accept you. Think of it this way. For every 100 applicants, there are 10 chosen. Why should you be one of the 10? Write it down.
