The average college application takes 2 months to complete. But the Academy application process can last up to 12 months.

Between Summer Seminar applications, Congressional nominations, fitness tests, ROTC applications as backup, all the interviews, and DODMERB process, it’s a marathon.

Even worse, the system is set up against those who wait until the last minute. So it’s not only alot of work, it also penalizes those who don’t attack it early.

We are continually amazed at the amount of unforeseen issues that can pop up without planning for it.

It’s an imperfect, complex process that tests every ounce of enthusiasm & energy you have!
