If you’re planning to compete for an ROTC scholarship during the 2026–2027 application cycle, one of the most important things you can do right now is understand the board schedule and develop a plan to submit your application as early as possible.

Army ROTC

Eligibility Requirements:
Minimum GPA: 2.5
Minimum SAT/ACT: 1000 SAT & 19 ACT

Board #1:
Due Date: 12 Oct 2026
Board Dates: 19-23 Oct 2026

Board #2:
Due Date: 18 Jan 2027
Board Dates: 25-29 Jan 2027

Board #3:
Due Date: 8 Mar 2027
Board Dates: 15-19 Mar 2027

Last Day to Open App: 4 Mar 2027 

Air Force ROTC (includes Space Force)

Eligibility Requirements:
Minimum GPA: 3.3
Minimum SAT/ACT: 1310 SAT & 28 ACT (Superscores not allowed)

Board #1:
Document Submission Deadline: 15 Sep 2026
Board Dates: 26-29 Oct 2026

Board #2:
Document Submission Deadline: 11 Dec 2026
Board Dates: 15-26 Mar 2027

Last Day to Submit App: 11 Dec 2026

Navy ROTC

Eligibility Requirements:
Minimum GPA: 2.75
Minimum SAT/ACT:
SAT: 540M / 550V and 1100 combined
ACT: 21M / 22E and 44 combined (Math + Eng)

Minimum SAT/ACT: 1000 SAT & 22 ACT (Superscores not allowed)

Board Dates: No earlier than 1 November 2026

Board – Regular (Spring)
Document Submission Deadline: 31 Jan 2027 (Last day to submit app)
Board Dates: No earlier than 1 February 2027
