3 tips for getting into USCGA:
1. Attend Summer AIM. CGA is a small school; they don’t want to just be your backup to USMA or USNA. Going to AIM is highly valued.
2. Get recruited. USCGA is DIII athletics. ~50% of cadets play a varsity sport. Reach out to the coaches!
3. Major intentions. 76% of admits put down a technical major. Recommend you consider following suit. You can change major after you arrive; you don’t officially begin major until end of sophomore year.
